Halloween
The word "Halloween or Hallowe'en " dates to about 1745 and is of christian origin.
It means "Hallowed evening" or "holy evening".
It comes from a Scottish term from "All hallows eve (the evening before all hallows'day).
Started by Britain Celts , on October 31st , they thought it was "summer's end " and they called "the day of the dead". All devil and the dead could leave the underworld and come in the world , for scare away the devil , people will wear a mask.
